Such a noob. That car sounds like a dog with diarrhea. Each RPM row can't be the same values. It has to be linear. 2k RPM: -20° 3k: -18° 4K: -17° 5K: -15° 6k: -13° Like so.
I've got an 02, 3.2 liter, 6 speed, 986 Porsche Boxster S with Fabspeed Exhaust, CAI, catlees headers, IPD Plenum/TB Numeric shifter etc... There is NO replacement for the Porsche flat 6 wail/howl!It has a different, richer level of exhaust and intake sounds that cannot be duplicated by a 4 banger... That said I luv the sound of a nicely tuned Honda F20 or K series at WOT as well. Just not in a Porsche 😂 There is no substitute!

Seriously wish you were local. My tuner is a younger kid and I don't think he's able to maximize my jdk k24a swap in my 8th gen si. Your charts are extremely consistent and clean. Whereas mine are not very clean. My k20z3 made 192 hp 140 tq and my k24a made 197 hp and 160 tq. The z3 had nst pulleys and a stock intake with a k&n drop in filter and the k24a an rrc oil pump and 50*vtc and has an injen cai. I find it hard to believe that my k24a couldn't break 200. Though his mustang dyno does read lower than most dynos. But, it is what it is. I'll most likely save up and go with an rrc im and tsx cams.

Let me get this straight. You removed the flat six so you could put a Honda four-cylinder in the car? Ok I feel like the 3.6 997 Engine is more of a fun rev happy engine anyways, the 3.8 m96/05 was never as enthusiastic.

Oh man this makes me miss my 93 del sol with a jdm gsr swap. It had a decent bit done to it from the suspension to a little bit of motor work. The best way I know to describe what it felt like to drive it is that is was like driving a go-kart on steroids. Yes, yes I know that technically makes no sense, lol😂. But you get what I am trying to say. Maybe it would be to say it was like a go-kart with a 50hp engine instead of an 8hp engine.

I have the same Civic Si, but in Black. I have a Yonaka Catback, Cold Air Intake, and a Hondata Reflash to get rid of the Rev Hang. It runs great but I want to either add an Intake Manifold or a Header. They’re both around the same price these days, can anyone recommend one over the other?

Surely the throttle body upgrade is pointless as the inlet for the plastic manifold is only 64.5mm anyway? Unless this was bored out somehow?

Idk what the he double hockey sticks is up with my accord but i dont have a tune at all, and even when all i had was a straight through muffler swap it crackled and popped at low speeds, and now it is even more apparent with a header swap.
What’s long term use look like with the bigger TB’s? I’ve seen many burn out the internals of the DBW cause it requires higher amperage to operate? Even K-Tuned recommend a stand alone ecu to run their 72mm to guarantee no issues when I asked about it.
